Description
Favored by Chinese herbalists, this fungus grows on the side of birch and alder trees in northern climates such as North America and Siberia. Studies have shown it to be high in antioxidants.
Most commonly brewed as a tea. The chaga chunks may be used a second time without reducing the flavor.
